Laura holds degrees in English, Philosophy, and legal qualifications in criminal litigation, debt recovery, and employment litigation. She started her career at Intelligent Office, then moved to Livingstone Brown to assist vulnerable clients. After working at Shoosmiths in debt recovery, she returned to Livingstone Brown, where she earned her paralegal qualifications.

In 2023, Laura launched Brown Owl Legal Support, providing document and research assistance to lawyers across the UK. She now manages paralegal duties, compliance, and marketing at Carnegie Law Chambers, specialising in children, matrimonial, immigration, and asylum cases. Laura is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce and The Institute of Legal Secretaries & PAs.
